The Annual Sports Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Anna Mira World School, Vellore, with the objective of promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among students.
The event was presided over by Mr. Ramadoss S, Founder of Anna Mira College of Engineering and Technology and Anna Mira World School. Mr. Suresh, Proprietor of Vellore Muthamizh Groups, attended the function as the Chief Guest and encouraged the students with his inspiring presence.
The celebrations commenced with a colorful march-past by the students, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the Olympic torch by Mr. Prasanth R, Director of Anna Mira College of Engineering and Technology and Chairman of Anna Mira World School.
Students enthusiastically participated in a variety of track and field events and other sports competitions conducted throughout the day. Winners were honored with medals, trophies, and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances.
During the event, the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, leadership, and a healthy lifestyle was highlighted, motivating students to actively participate in physical activities alongside their academic pursuits.
On behalf of the management, the Principal and the Director of Physical Education were felicitated for their dedicated efforts in organizing the successful event.
The function was attended by Mrs. Seethalakshmi, Treasurer of Anna Mira World School, Mrs. Bagyalakshmi V, Correspondent, Dr. Jayapriya, School Trustee, Mr. S. Sandhilyan, Mr. Damotharan, Former Vellore Municipal Councillor, Mrs. Prashanthini, Principal of the school, along with teachers, parents, and students, making the Annual Sports Festival a memorable and inspiring celebration.
